Bright, clear tone with excellent balance across both octaves. This whistle comes from the maker's own unsold stock and has never been played. The cocobolo body shows no wear; the stainless fittings are pristine throughout. Condition is as new in every respect. Included is a custom-fitted wooden case.

About the Maker

Glenn A. Schultz Sr. worked out of Oxford, Michigan under the Thin Weasel Woodwinds name. He made both wooden and CPVC whistles, and he mentored fellow whistlemaker Paul Busman, whose own work carried on much of Schultz's craft tradition. Schultz passed away in 2005, and with no one taking over the business, his whistles have become genuinely hard to come by. The Thin Weasels in particular, turned from exotic hardwoods and built with obvious care in voicing and hole placement, are regarded warmly by players who had the good fortune to own one. An unplayed example direct from his stock is a uncommon find.
