Plays excellent, with a wide open, clear tone that stays strong throughout, from the low A all the way up. A great player with excellent intonation.

The wood type is unknown, and it is fitted with stainless steel hardware. This whistle is essentially new old stock: it came from the maker's historical stock, was never sold or played, and is in excellent as-new condition. It comes without a case.

About the Maker

Glenn Schultz made whistles under the Thin Weasel Woodwinds name, working in both exotic woods and CPVC. His instruments earned a strong reputation for precise craftsmanship, with smooth, well-centered finger holes and a pure, responsive, strong tone across his range of keys. Schultz passed away in June 2005, and his whistles remain sought after by players who know his work.
