A really nice cylindrical flute in G with good intonation, and the octaves are the story here. Cylindrical flutes commonly go flat in the second octave; this one does not do that to any troubling degree, which makes it genuinely useful rather than merely interesting. A handy way to have a flute in G to hand.
Turned in one piece from a dark reddish hardwood, no ferrules and no tuning slide. There are two sealed hairline cracks at the foot end; they are stable and harder to find without looking for them.
