A real sweet player, almost woodsy sounding, at moderate volume and with excellent intonation.
This is Carbony's Leading Tone model, which adds a seventh hole, offset for the little finger of the bottom hand, reaching down to the leading tone below the tonic. This example is also fitted with both of the optional thumbholes, giving C natural and F natural, so it carries the full complement of extras Carbony offers on the model.
Carbony instruments are made by Pipe Makers Union in Corvallis, Oregon, and carry a lifetime warranty.
